Either they glorify the people who are the "when it's your time, it's your time" types and portray them as some kind of rugged heroes, or they lay the blame for being in the wrong place at the wrong time on people who are victims.
They never seem to mention that some people could not leave. I saw a photo today of two people helping a man with an amputated leg leave his home. I guess he should have just hopped along several hundred miles out of the storm's path according to these news reporters?
