19. More Dirty Laundry
I was refering to the CNN reporter covering Kobe's arrival, but your note about the victim fits just as well. These networks have had months to set up for this day...I didn't noticed by I'll bet there's already special graphics and music out there. Objective trial? Yeah, right. My wife joked that if you watch COURT-TV or Lifetime, Kobe's been convicted and hung already, if you watch ESPN, then the cheap ho needs a good bitch-slapping. I think CNN and others hope to suck these audiences...how do we say, bonus points.

Yep, this sucks the air out of stories of real importance, but this isn't what these networks are about...and the information is there for those who really want to find it. Truth be told, this is a lot better than the non-stop Gropinator crap or even the Rush stuff.

I was curious about Ms. Stewart because of her strident attacks on the LA Times...it just seemed to reek of some personal vendetta. I'd never heard of her, but her showing up on MSGOP...especially with Tweety, had me wondering about her. What added my second question was seeing her yesterday and her title had changed to talk show host. I'm always trying to connect the dots in a lot of these stories...and if this was a hit job on the Times by someone, or her trying to make an impression to get a regular food fight gig ($$$) with Tweety and others.

I've worked in radio for nearly 30 years (damn) and spent half of that working with Talk and Full Service radio...thus the name and the background.

Cheers
