PJPII stuffed the college of cardinals with Arch-Conservatives. No way its going to happen i'm afraid.
That said. The Pope doesn't make or break my Catholicism...I do. It doesn't matter to me if the pope is green with purple tufts of hair everywhere, Catholicism works for me as a vehicle for my faith and until it stops fulfiling that need it is my church
