14. imho, cruel child rearing tactics are more acceptable in the
black community. a few years back the chicago trib decided to put every murdered child on the front page. turned out most of those murdered by their own parents were black. i have personally been in some public arguments with people who beat their children in public. they were all black. many black churches promote that 'jesus says beat your children' crap. the roots of all this may be influenced by racism and prejudice. but it is incontrovertible that brutal child rearing practices lead to all the ills to which the black community is heir.
