...ween't very many) that the Bush people were bad news and would try to steer the U. S. toward a fascist form of government. I also told them that if Bush were elected (I mistakenly assumed the election would be fair), we would be in a war in the Middle East within his first term.

I was ridiculed and laughed at, even by my friends.
