9. You should really think before you speak
I was once looking into gestational surrogacy myself. Many many of the intended parents HAD tried adoptions, both international and domestic. Many HAD tried to qualify as foster parents. Either they didn't "qualify" or things just didn't work out. My aunt suffered through 3 failed adoptions, 15 years of heartache. She and my Uncle finally adopted my cousin, just barely before they would have been considered "too old". My sister-in-law sufferers from a blood disorder and many agencies wouldn't take them on. They are terrific parents to the two older children they adopted from Russia. I feel horrible for all the other children that missed out on such wonderful parents. Don't blame someone for finding a way to start a family, blame the horrid challenges place in front of many in regards to adoption.
