78. Am I reading this correctly?
>but she isn’t one of us.<

Oh, okay, I must have missed that part. She didn't work hard to get what she has. She wasn't smart enough to keep the show in her own name so she made her own money. Is that it? She grew up dirt poor. She worked her ass off to be as successful as she is. She still has family problems. I'll bet there are days it just isn't so great to be Oprah Winfrey, but she "isn't one of us"? Good God.

>Why does anyone think that just because she is African-American she is also progressive or Democratic? She isn’t, what she is is a very rich woman.<

Would a Republican give her money away like Oprah has been doing? Oh, there's a question. Then again, I forgot that everyone who's rich is automatically evil. Are you the arbiter of who's truly Democratic, and who isn't?

>Her loyalty is to her money, not to the people she left behind.<

What "people" are those? She's got enough money that she won't be able to spend it in this lifetime now. I don't think that money's her main concern.

>We really don’t need any more people in office who put loyalty to the Almighty Dollar before love of country or common decency.<

Excuse me?
Ohhh, I see. If one is wealthy, one has no soul. That's it, right?

Oprah doesn't love her country because she's rich? She has no "common decency" because she's not scrounging for every dollar?

By the way, just a question: Do you hold elected office? Everyone has to start somewhere. Maybe you should run.

Julie
