ISD, an IT consulting services and software development firm, continues to exhibit impressive growth. The company achieved sales of $7.6 million in 2000, and grossed over $9 million in 2001. The company currently has 100 employees.

Since 1994, most of ISD’s sales have been from customized software development and consulting services for state government clients. Tom Lynch, ISD’s owner and CEO, has stated that the company will continue to grow its state agency business in 2002, but will also expand into the federal marketplace. “There’s an abundance of IT work to be done at the federal level, and we feel we have the collective skill sets to seize those opportunities.” Lynch, an army veteran, started the company in 1994 with $10,000 of his own money.
