than being sex bimbos.
But that was the only way women got represented at all (or as mothers). Not a whole lot different now.

But I've got a dilemma, because I love his work anyway; yet it pisses me off.

I think it's tough for men, or white straight men anyway, to really get what it feels like to constantly be confronted with insulting/trivializing imagery or attitudes, and have them so embedded in the culture that even pointing them out gets you yelled at for being a crabby bitch or laughed at for being trivial.
