21. Malicious sites
Try this trick. It involves a simple tweak of the HOSTS file:

http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/how_to_use_hosts.html

THe HOSTS file is like a directory for your browser, and malicious sites use it occasionally to redirect your browser to their sites (ever hear of CoolWebSearch?).

The modified HOSTS file will make your browser refuse to load those pages, and the one given here will also block many banner ad and popup servers.

It works great, but may slow down some sites slightly. And if there's a site on there that you use (Classmates.com is a good example of a useful site that is a banner ad whore), you can take it off the list.
