Psychoanalysis

How can one tell what Love may be about
In his uncharted waters, where the mines
Entice the summer swimmers as they shout
And fishermen reel in tremendous lines?

The marker buoys bob lightly in slow motion
And near the ports the fish are known by schools-
But not the monsters of the deeper ocean
Or those classified in the rock pools.

With clarity and elegance of style
Cartographers trace maps--til one forgets
That in the teeming sea, mile after mile,
The biggest fish are still outside the nets.
