Are you really trying to psychoanalyze me based on a post that was mostly facetious? I'm really not that interested in manipulating someone who I've never met. For the most part, I was kidding around, which seemed fairly appropriate considering that WE ARE IN THE DU LOUNGE. Had we been in a serious setting -- i.e. some sort of group counseling -- I would have emblazened the word "Rhetorical"

And by the way, when I forget my wallet and have to run home to get it, subsequently being late for a class, who am I trying to manipulate? I'm absent-minded and disorganized, but manipulative? Not remotely.

Again, I'm sorry for not spelling it out a bit more clearly as I merely assumed that we were still in the DU LOUNGE.
