I hiked every backcountry park in the trail as a kid (not their full length, but I've been on them all at some poitn), and when I was 18, I bungeed off the "diving board" on top of Half Dome (got a nasty fine for it too).
It just seemed fitting when I saw it in the avatars list :) In case you're curious, this is the diving board:  Oh, and this is the view straight down from the Diving Board...that's the floor of the Yosemite Valley from 4,700 feet up. I got to stare at that for several minutes while my buds argued with the park ranger and hauled me back up:  |
