Our family does the present thing a little too heavily. My mom in particular is always known for buying gifts that have no relation to the recipient's universe.
I recieved "jet lighter" from her yesterday.. i don't smoke, or do drugs, or have any need for a lighter that sounds like a jet engine when you push the button. I opened it and stopped and said "i think this is for eric (my brother who smokes and does pot) Of course, once i said that i realized my mom got it for me and it's not supposed to make any sense..
