Did the kids whose gifts were auctioned on EBAY burn their house?

Seriously I heard this yesterday at work. Anybody have any updates/news on this? Supposedly the kids set fire to the house when the dad actually sold the stuff.

I don't believe it of course, and think it might not have had time to get on snopes yet.
