Am I progressive? [View All]

I try to keep an open mind. I want to learn about the beliefs of the progressive left. I believe in all abortion rights except for parental notification. I believe in equal rights for everyone regardless of race, creed , etc. I tend to be moderate in my views. For instance on the gay marriage issue I believed we should push for partnership laws. Mainly to include insurance. I believe in health care for everyone. I however disagree on the priority of the democratic issues.

Now heres what will probably get me flamed if not banned. I think that our focus is too much on racial/sexual orientation issues and not on issues that concern the majority of the public. Yes that means whites too. Education, tax relief, and help for anyone that is struggling regardless of race, creed etc. I want to become the party of the lower/middle class regardless of what color their skin is.

On these boards theres plenty of bigotry. Lord (thats irony btw) help ya if you are southern white liberal.

Anyway JMO and I am asking for yours. Am I a liberal progressive?
