if you are a fan of the game, and listen to tim mccarver you would know that he is one of the more unbiased announcers out there (unlike joe morgan who makes no bones about hating the yanks since they get compared to the big red machine)
hells tim was fired by the yankees as an announcer because he wasnt a 'homer' and called games down the middle. and bret till the end did his best to hide his favoratism to the yanks with his bro there. i think he was a poor choice nevertheless cause he didnt quite fit in the booth with two professionals like mccarver and joe buck.
