His rank is Petty Officer 1st class; paygrade E-6, equal to a Army/Marine Staff Sargent.
His original job is photographer.
He has qualified as a SEAL (navy commando).
He probably is a Combat Cameraman; taking photos of things related to SEALs and/or pictures during missions; everything from recon photos to post-strike assessment photos.
It would be written (short form) as PH1(SEAL). It could also be written as PO1(SEAL) if you wanted to de-emphasize his specialty.
My own is written as PO1(SW). This is because I don't want to give out my specialty to Freepers; I did it once and they tracked me down and sent nasty messages to my CO.
