I'm a liberal because I'm anti-Republican. I will never give up my banner until the enemy has been crushed.

Beyond that, I'm a liberal because I believe the needs of people trump the needs of corporations. I'm a liberal because I believe the needs of a woman trump concern for the unborn. I'm a liberal because I believe that the more resources and abilities a person has the more social responsibility a person has. I'm a liberal because I believe that nature is to be cherished, not exploited--we exist within it, not above it. I'm a liberal because I believe in the overwhelming need to find a replacement for war. I'm a liberal because it's possible for me to see beyond my own particular point of view and I don't fear things that I don't understand. I'm a liberal because I care.
