but you said this is rooted in some negative experience with men for you. and instead of taking it out on the men, you marginalise the women you think they might prefer. that's a common catty reaction, and it perpetuates the whore/ virgin thing saying some women invite abuse.
you don't know those women, some of them have a lot more going on than you're willing to see. i'm not saying you need to embrace the look yourself, but it's xenophobic to think women who dress like you are somehow better, and covering up and dressing sexless is the answer to coping with men in society. that's how things used to be, before women worked outside the home, and it didn't get us anywhere. not taking shit from people who are willing to pre-judge you gets you somewhere, bucking under and feeling everyone should look sexless is giving people permission to treat people in skirts as less than human. not acceptable.
