37. Best Movie You've Never Seen
The Loved One

Robert Morse, Johnathon Winters, John Gielgud, Rod Steiger, Paul Williams.

It's the most obscure classic film I know of. It's hilarious. It's set in a funeral parlor. An English guy comes to LA LA Land to take care of his uncle's funeral. But it's turns out to be a very complex arrangement. Plus, there's so much more... There's lots of poling fun at Hollywood and American sensitivities (pet cemeteries, etc.). You get to see Rod Steiger (Joyboy) sing his little lobster song and do his little lobster dance. And Johnathon Winters is photographed without any restraints whatsoever, very rare for him. You can see why he's such a god to Robin Williams.
