You edited out breeder as I was typing my response and I thank you for that.

I write about this for a living. I do not have clinical or field experience, but employees who get trained on hazmat procedures have more training than most parents, who don't, even if they don't "learn" them. I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that store called for help.

I worked retail for a long time, and on the rare occasion we had a medical emergency in our store (usually a person falling ill, or a kid dive-bombing off a rack), we called 911, leaving the people free to -- yep -- contact their family.
