Do you ever get the "uggghs" when you visit DU? I've logged in maybe 4 times since Christmas, and everytime I've logged in, I look at the threads in GD and I just think, "Uggh."

It's not that there's anything wrong with the threads at all--it's just that the same old topics are being debated by the same people everytime I log in--in GD, where I spend a great deal of my DU posting time. Know what I mean?

When I get the "uggghs," I take it that it's best for me to take a break from DU for a few weeks...but then I say that, and the next time I log in, there's a very interesting topic being discussed during my self-imposed exile, and I feel like I need to log back in and chime in.

I don't know if it's just a seasonal thing or what, but sometimes I have to have a break. Usually when I feel like this about my visits to DU, I feel that way about "real life," too, and I take it as a sign that I need a break from everything in my routine. Are you like that, too?

(Note to mods: I'm not complaining about DU at all. I love DU. I'm complaining about myself, I guess. Frankly, I don't see how the mods handle having to read the same arguments from the same people over and over again. )
