4. The difference between + and -
<Putting on my Video Production Helmet.>

+R DVD's are formatted for computer DVD-ROM drives, and may not work in most DVD Players. -R is compatable with DVD Players.

If you are putting files or something on to DVD for use in a computer, use +R DVD's

If you are putting a video onto a DVD so you can send new year's greetings to Aunt Gertie, use -Rs.

See, all this money all of you DUers (and lurkers and trolls) (Well, the American ones, at least.) are spending to put me through UW-Stevens Point is'nt being wasted on Point Beer, roleplaying games, and wooing anime fangirls!
