"with important personal business for (name of business)," which was a sideline thing my ex-S.O. had. We broke up more than three years ago and she now lives about 30 miles from here.
I've gotten this call at least 20 times; usually I let the machine get it, but this time I decided to set the record straight. I picked up the phone and pressed '1' as instructed to hear the message in English, then pressed '1' again to speak to a humanoid. After a few seconds of horrendous music the bot said, "We're sorry. No agents are available..."  |
