15. Yep, my son is a teen and I can feel him pulling away from me.
We have a completely different relationship, he doesn't want to share and he doesn't like me showing him affection (that is really hard!). He feels like I'm babying him and because he's small for his age, he thinks that is why. He asked me the other day if I loved him when he was a baby because a teacher told him that not getting love could stunt a child's emotional and physical growth (he's really reaching to find a reason he hasn't grown much yet).:-(
