Ironic story re: V is for Vendetta

I have not seen the film yet, but I plan to.

My mom told me that she and my dad (my mom is a Democrat and my dad is a wingnut fundy freeper) went to see V is for Vendetta. Apparently she was able to "see" the parallels to our current administration, but my dad just thought it was a comic book fantasy film.

And the blind stay blind.
