Griff is Back! My son's dog was hit by a car last week...
Advertisements [?]
Last Monday I was with my son, Daughter-in-Law and their dog Griffey looking at a prospective new home for them.
Griff jumped out of the car before the leash could be attached and was hit by a car.

Griff took off like lightning and we could not find her.

I returned Tuesday and helped Son and daughter look for their dog for 9 hours.(they stayed searched several hours longer) We postered a 60 block radius and did receive two tips but no Griff.

All this week I have not been able to sleep and have been down in the dumps at work. Griffey is the coolest dog with a great personality. I refused to believe she was killed by the impact.

Saturday afternoon, I get a call at work from my son. He says, "dad, I have one dirty, smelly dog back!"

I yelled, startling everyone in the Emergency waiting room andI had to run outside to continue the conversation.

Some good samaritan had seen one of the posters and recognized Griffey in a yard with minor bleeding and suffering from exhaustion. He took the dog to a vet THEN called my son!

Today Griffey is on the couch at home being tended to by two very relieved human companions!

What a great way to end a week!
