I don't know what I should be relieved over...

The neurologist confirmed there is a problem going on. The results of the EMG were varied; often showing a low response or no response. The manual tests he did were also perplexing him. Everything shows signs that would confirm spinal column degeneration.

Except, the lower back MRI showed nothing impinging the column. The MRI of my lower back from 2 weeks ago... no change from October (which had shown a few anomalies, but nothing that would be considered cause for surgery). Yet I had felt the hot dagger sensation run from my lower back right down to my toe.

He verified some more questions as to when the pain is worse, what I do, et cetera. There is no reason why I can't readily carry 20 pounds of food a mere 200ft now, whereas I could only 6~8 months ago! My job isn't sedentrary, I do a lot of walking and moving.

He even asked if I ever broke my ankle. Nope. No part of my corporeal form has been broken. Not even my spirit, but that's not corporeal. :spray:

He's ordered bloodwork pertaining to find any other causes, within his sphere of expertise of course, to see why my muscles are weakening. (the rate of weakening isn't equal, but he noticed irregular anomalies on both legs...)

But I convinced him to get an updated neck MRI, describing to him a couple incidents from recent. Just to rule it out, but it is a possibility.

The cause will be found and damage reversed. Well, I hope. There is no logical reason why I am weakening so, not so quickly, and his tests are showing I'm not making any of this up - except the obvious isn't the answer. I do hate it when that happens...

I'm relieved because the spinal column isn't being pinched... but I've got to find out the weakening. And it will be done.
