I think it's the tail end of a shedder season.
(My family with licenses are down in the Portland area and it tends to be a topic of conversation.)
It is a sad reality that much of the time the bugs are too expensive for anything but a special occasion.
Living on the wrong ocean now, it's the steamers I miss the most.
