There is a gun-crazed idiot in my neighborhood, and I hate it! [View All]

I realize there probably isn't much I can do about it, as I live in the mountains, near a lake, well outside of city limits. But some assh*le unloads a gun somewhere in the vicinity every single freaking day. I can't tell where b/c noise carries so well over water, etc., but on Thanksgiving it sounded like a freaking fire-fight (must have had some family over to do gun battle with). I don't know if s/he's shooting at a target, at the local's pets, at the Canada geese on the lake, or what. But it just does NOT seem safe - though we're in the country, this is a heavily residential area with homes and people everywhere.

And then this morning at 6:30 there were three rapid shots - boom boom boom! - then another 2 that sounded like they came from somewhere else, then 5 rapid shots further away, then another two that sounded damn near next door. I don't know enough about guns to be able to identify if the shots come from a hand gun, or a rifle or shotgun but the rapid succession makes me think hand gun.

I hate guns, hate hunting, have no problem with target shooting. But I realize all these things are protected possessions/activities, so I'll just have to live with it. But this person's proclivity to shoot A LOT in a neighborhood full of people PISSES ME OFF! And I don't know if it's one person or more, but the afternoon firings seem to be from the same place.
