I don't know why that album rarely makes the "Best of" lists. Sure there's nothing that extraordinary about it from a musical standpoint but the attitude was a revelation. All the millions of kids who wondered why they couldn't get just one fuck now realized that others wondered the same thing.
I can't tell you how many times I was feeling awkward at a party humming some of the lyrics from this album to myself thinking: "This is exactly how I feel right now."
A couple years before Nirvana broke I realized that the musical times were about to change, when I heard this blasting from a Porsche.
But what the fuck does Time know anyway?
