Day three without a cigarette. It's getting better. But the headache is killing me. [View All]

I had quit smoking 12 years ago.

Out of foolishness and drunkeness, I started again 3 months ago.

Within a WEEK I was hooked and back into it big time.

I am ashamed and amazed at how fast I became attached to this ball and chain.

So, I am on day 3, moving onto day 4. I get rid of the patch tomorrow because I just don't need the nicotine in my system any longer and the longer I wear the patch, the longer I am hooked on the nic.

I have really struggled with this. But, my lungs are already starting to clear themselves. It's amazing howmuch crap accumulates in your lungs from a mere 3 months of smoking.

I can't drink my morning coffee because it sends me into a nic fit. I think that's where the headache comes from.

But man, would I LOVE a cigarette right now.
