If you were given the power to remake the US federal government to your specifications...

...what changes would you make?

Some of mine:

--Constitutional amendment to clearly define a right to privacy
--Constitutional amendment to enshrine equal recognition for all civil contracts (including marriage)
--Constitutional amendment to clearly define who is considered a "person" (i.e., to make sure Corporations are NOT considered "persons")
--Getting the Equal Rights Amendment ratified and in full effect
--Abolishing the death penalty
--Constitutional amendment to tie the minimum wage to inflation and "real" living expenses

How would YOUR government be different?
