world! If you have people there that you know, you probably would be safe! I was just there with my mother in a hotel. It's a wonder all was well!

I must add to that list Taormina, Sicily. I was there in December of 2005. I felt the same way about Taormina that I had felt for S.F., Rio, and N.O., that it was magical. If you have a chance, go to Taormina! Just beautiful. It is on the east coast of Sicily, easily reachable from the mainland of Italy and close to Mt. Etna, which I went up. And I had the best shopping there that I had in all of Sicily.
