8. It's legit after Friday's interview to ask

when you'll hear back from them. If they say "end of next week" again, ask "Oh, so you've got some other people interviewing next week then?"

If they say Yes, then there's not much you can do. Or maybe accept #1's offer and later rescind. (which I find kinda distasteful myself)

If they say No, you can mention again that you have an offer coming, and is there any way the process can be expedited, since they're your first choice (a little flattery can't hurt, esp. when it's true)

I'm guessing they have other people coming in though.
