That must explain why the coverage yesterday surmised that Burghardt had to drop from the race, when it turned out that Rogers did. I guess they had reason to believe it could have been Burghardt.
And I guess that's what happens to a carbon wheel, the way it just cracked in half. Built for strength coming straight on, not at all for force from the side.
