I had insurance. I was working for a start-up non-profit, so had to pay my own premiums, but I was ordained, so could get good rates through the denomination. There was no advantage to telling me to stop my insurance, especially since he didn't have any to replace it with. That's when I realized that he was not only sneaky and dishonest....he was crazy!!

Interestingly, I have a friend/colleague whose ex did the same thing--convinced her he was in school when he wasn't. What's the point of that?!!
