It's hell being so impatient

I am supposed to be picking up our new kitten today. I was asked to call the foster mom at 11:30 to get her address, then head over there. It is now 12:35, and I have called repeatedly and have only gotten her voice mail. I have his room all ready and have a vet appointment scheduled for 2:30, which I am not going to make at this point. I really want to get him ASAP because I start my new job on Monday and want to have as much time as possible to get him acclimated and get our other cats used to him. I have other appointments scheduled the rest of the week, and all of Saturday is pretty much booked up.

Add to this the fact that I was supposed to see my doctor today, but have been informed that our insurance policy has been TERMINATED (my husband just started at a different hospital last month), so I canceled that appointment.

I am very frustrated. I am trying to stay calm, but am getting very annoyed and angry and am almost ready to look for another kitten. THE WORLD MUST OPERATE ON MY SCHEDULE, DAMMIT!!!
