Yes, the DH rule is a big deal. In this particular case, though, it doesn't look like there's a big conflict--Ortiz is injured. He can't field, he can't run for shit. Yes, he hits, but for right now, Papi can't do much else. I think the DH is out henceforth. He's got to be out.

To me, that's not the biggest issue for the AL. Wait until we have to have our pitchers in the batting rotation. Cripes. THAT is where the NL can destroy the AL. That is where the Sox are going to face their demons.

Yeesh. I'm picturing Schilling in the order and shuddering.
