I find it soothing. No idea why. :shrug:
There's a Monty Python animation with hands folding a letter, putting it in an envelope, then removing and unfolding it, with amplified audio. I wish I had that on an audio loop; I could fall asleep to it or just use it to relax.
Oh, another one: I call it "highway hum." When I was a kid and we'd go on non-camping vacations, the sound of trucks going by on the highway lulled me to sleep in motels. It wasn't just the trucks, though; it was if there was some sort of energy radiating from the highway that had a sort of whisper. It's a nice memory.
