Anytime some wingnut calls me a "bleeding heart," I must conclude they are comparing my levels of compassion and grace to Jesus Christ, and I take it as the highest of compliments.

Ava, I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that any winger who calls you a "bleeding heart" has no idea of the Christian allusion he or she has just made.
