that's interpupilary distance, or the distance between the centers of the pupils. Gotta have that right or you're looking through the cockeyed edge of the lens, not the optical center and you will go nuts trying to see straight.
I just got a pair from Zenni-- aviator shades in my prescription for a total of 18 bucks including shipping, and I like them better than my regular glasses. Getting another cataract operation next month and will then order lots more from them.
Personally, I miss the disposable contacts I was using for years. I might go back to them when all the eye surgery is over.
