and yes, there are many people who give all they have to following Christ. I know many people who have dedicated their lives to the call they feel they received and to this day have nothing to call their own. But for those of us who have chosen the path of family...well, some amount of money is necessary to survive :-) and the tax cut really didn't help...

Christ set the bar high, but of course, there are those of us to whom he IS God. We also realize that He came so that we could have life and not live under a law that we could not possibly hope to perfect in our fallen state (please forgive all the buzzwords...but they fit). We should strive to help our fellow man...if you have two cloaks...give one away...
