sabotage her opportunity at your firm. If she is that stupid, I'm not sure I'd want her working there after my referral.

(Sorry to sound so judgmental, and I bet you wouldn't do that, but I think entertaining the idea is justifiable and feels good.)

Oh yeah, there are others who would appreciate your thoughtfulness in helping them get a job, so please don't get jaded over one nincompoop. You're a good person to have gone out on a limb for her. You're not required to fall out of the tree.
