My late kitty Fergus was so affectionate. I remember back in 1985 when I was looking for a job, and there was one I desperately wanted, but didn't get. As a emotional young woman, I was bawling on my bed, and Ferg looked at me compassionately and reached out to gently bat my cheek as if to say, "There, there - it's going to be all right."
Simba and Monty are also loving, as well as intelligent. They understand the words "What do you want," "treats" and "upstairs." They live on our laps and don't want us out of their sight.
Dogs are nice, too, but cats are so intelligent, clean and beautiful that I find them irresistible!
