I was especially jealous of any guy who hooked up with my ex-girlfriend after we broke up. It wasn't an obsession, but it did make me jealous and sad, and I thought about her a lot and wondered about the guys lucky enough to be in her life.

I missed her so much, and then later found out she had died of cancer. My family had hidden it from me. So I never really got to make peace with her.

That was one of the worst things that has ever happened to me. It felt like something inside me just died. That happened in late December of last year.
