8. They asked one of the women in my office to be on that show and she said no.
I watched that show and I am telling you she would have probably been too low key for them anyway. The lady they finally got to appear was married to some fundy that wouldn't even let his wife out of the house to go grocery shopping--let alone drive a car!

They swapped that couple with a woman who was a California Highway Patrol officer married to an investment guy that stayed home and did all the housework. I seriously thought at one point she was gonna beat the snot out of that fundy guy.

The whole show was about some Christian book that has a church based program to go with it about femininity and the teachings of the Bible. That lady from my office was an instructor for that class and that is how they found her. She made the comment before the show ever aired that she just KNEW it was gonna be ghastly.

So, what is the deal with your neighbor that makes her family interesting enough to be on that show? Are they the fairly normal ones that will get the wackaloon wife or is she nuts and gonna be the one tormenting somebody else?
