It's message was... man+woman=marriage ..... The thing that I thought was strange was that the family that displayed the message appeared to be inter-racial. He was black, she was white and the 3 kids had characteristics of both adults. I encountered these folks close up in a small store and parking lot, and they certainly acted like a family unit....... It was not so long ago that "mixing of the races" was deemed as un-natural, dangerous & even illegal........ Have we learned nothing?
