My own gynecologist showed herself to be a premier wingnut a couple of weeks ago during my annual exam when she claimed that "we're being punished" for Roe v. Wade (I had told her about friends of mine, my age, late 30's, who'd been diagnosed with breast cancer when they had no risk factors, and she insisted that the increasing breast cancer rate was due to abortion, never mind that none of my friends had ever even thought of having one), among other little RW talking point gems.
